Widening Circles with Emma Mary Gathergood
In this episode of the Widening Circles interview series, Zori Tomova speaks with Emma Mary Gathergood – a holistic life coach, wise elder, book writer and creator of the Earth Listening groupwork modality.
Emma Mary has more than 50 years of experience as a therapist, where very early in her journey thanks to her travels and exploration of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, she began including spiritual awareness alongside psychological growth in her work. She is the writer of several books on holistic therapy and cultivating Earth consciousness, available on Amazon, the latest one being “Choosing The Thriving Life Paradigm”.
She is also the creator of Earth Listening, a modality that has gained its own following in the Deep Adaptation movement and beyond, expressing in a beautiful way Emma Mary’s spirit and passion for helping others be the change they wish to see in the world, by deeply listening and embodying Earth consciousness.

Widening Circles is a mycelium-inspired community of spaceholders gathering as peers to co-create an environment that supports our growth as humans, masters of our craft and conscious entrepreneurs.
I try to bring good people and exciting projects together within the Deep Adaptation Forum, where I am currently part of the core team. I am also studying social learning and radical collective change as part of my PhD at IFLAS, University of Cumbria.
